LCGB "Lancastrian Railtour" 6th April 1968, Liverpool Lime Street to Liverpool Lime Street via Stockport, Longsight, Manchester Oxford Road, Eccles, Springs Branch, Wigan Wallgate, Southport, Edge Hill, Waterloo Tunnel, Liverpool Riverside & Edge Hill! Photographer & location unknown. The tour ran as 1T85 and was hauled throughout by "Black 5" 4-6-0 No. 45305, which happily has survived into preservation. From information received, I now know that this location is Burscough Bridge station, where a photo stop was made!
